Capabilities
Kentucky Machine and Tool is pleased to offer your company a wide scope of machine shop services. We provide production capabilities, quick delivery, maintenance parts, and the building and/or repair of your special machinery. Our highly skilled tradesmen will speedily and skillfully provide you with one, or thousands of parts at a time. Your blanket 0rder is welcome for stocking and delivery of parts when you need them .
State of the Art Equipment
Our large wire EDM machine can do your most demanding and complex shapes. This machine will support a part that weighs up to 2000 pounds and will handle a part as large as 27″ wide x 47″ long x 15″ high.
The CNC department includes a state of the art CAD/CAM system that will process your own internally drawn CAD drawings. Taking them from your conception to machining right here in our shop. We have 3 Vertical Machining Centers that will machine parts up to 76″ x 33″. Our CNC Turning Centers can do small quantities or production runs by utilizing our bar pulling capabilities. Quality is assured using our Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
Your fabrication needs can be taken care of with our in house Mig, Tig, or Stick Welding capabilities. We also have a 150 ton Hydraulic Press, a 35 ton Press Brake, a Small Shear, and an Ironworker.
Expertise and Experience
Kentucky Machine and Tool takes great pride in our employee retention numbers. Several of our employees, including our current Shop Foreman started working with us directly out their High School Apprenticeship Program. Our two outside sales men are seasoned Machinists themselves with over 50 years of combined experience between them. What makes our shop unique is our belief that our employees should all be cross trained to handle any job that comes into our shop from beginning to end.
